United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) 
UNESCO is the United Nations agency responsible for the promotion and development of international programmes in the fields of education, science and culture. It is also responsible for implementung the UN's standard setting instruments for the protection of World Heritage and the Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage, amongst others.

A cultural heritage prograame organised within the framework of the World Bank's Social Risk Mitigation Project (SMRP). In this project, cultural heritage is mobilised as part of a strategy of poverty reduction, employment creation and civic involvement.  Its focus is the Seferihisar district of Izmir, Turkley's third largest city, situated on the Aegean coast.

The RAI is the world's longest-established scholarly association dedicated to the furtherance of anthropology (the study of humankind) in its broadest and most inclusive sense. The Royal Anthropological Institute seeks to combine a distinguished tradition of scholarship stretching back over more than 150 years with the active provision of services to contemporary anthropology and anthropologists (including students of anthropology). It has a particular commitment to promoting the public understanding of anthropology, and the contribution of anthropology to public affairs.

The ASA was founded in 1946 to promote the study and teaching of social anthropology, to present the interests of social anthropology and to maintain its professional status. The Association for Tourism and Leisure Education (ATLAS) was established in 1991 to develop transnational educational initiatives in tourism and leisure.
