The search facility on this site has been specially designed to allow simple or very complex searches of the database of media files.
Simple searching:
Just type a word or phrase into the Search string box and press the search button. This will then take you to a page that lists the media available that matches your search term. You can then select a relevant result to view the media. The icons beside each result show the type of media. You may need a fast connection to view some of the video files as they can be quite large.
Advanced searching
For a more advanced search you can select the check boxes beside the Theme, Sub-theme, Location or Language drop down boxes. Selecting the Theme check box allows you to only search for media in a certain theme. Selecting the Sub theme check box will only search for media within a selected sub theme giving a more focused set of results.
Selecting the Location check box will allow you to search for media in one or more locations only. To select to search in more than one location just hold down the Ctrl key on you keyboard and select the locations.
Selecting the Language check box will allow you to search for media in one or more language only. To select to search in more than one language just hold down the Ctrl key on you keyboard and select the desired languages.
Using these search methods you can refine your searches to filter out any unwanted media by selecting a combination of locations and languages.
Boolean searches can also be used to query the database and offers even more relevant results for those with experience of this method.
